Lindsay has been drawing, painting, and engaging in the arts since a lil rugrat. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Fine Art in Painting and a Masters degree in Art Therapy.
Lindsay began her professional arts career working in art galleries and as a custom picture framer, in Portland, OR. She later went back to grad school to become an Art Therapist, and has worked in community, school, and hospital settings throughout Portland for almost two decades.
While Lindsay's work as a mental health therapist has been incredibly rewarding, she turned her focus back towards art-making during "The Vid" and created "La Spina Designs" as an outlet for her own creativity, sense of humor, and self-care. All of Lindsay’s creations are hand-drawn, pulling inspiration from the PNW’s unique culture and natural outdoor wonderland.
Lindsay's other passions include backpacking, snowboarding, crabbing, walking her dog around Portland, and merry-making with friends and family! Lindsay also enjoys traveling the world, experiencing and being inspired by other cultures.
